Despite high temperatures and humidity, the 38th Annual Iuka Heritage Day Festival attracted around 7,000 visitors, showcasing food, entertainment, and history. Attendance fell short of the 10,000 goal due to the heat. Organizers are already preparing for the 2027 festival, which will commemorate Iuka's 170th anniversary.
