Obituaries – September 2026

It is with heavy hearts that that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Perkins on August 23, 2026, at The Tishomingo Community Living Center. Born on November 3, 1940 in Corinth, MS to the late Roy and Willie Mae Perkins. She was 85 years old. Sue dearly loved her family, children, animals, and was a passionate fan of Elvis and The Lone Ranger. 

She is survived by her brother, Dr. James F. Perkins, and his wife, Kay; her beloved nieces and nephews: Steven Perkins (Christy), Julee Maxcy (Kevin), Jayme Davis (Teddy), Jessica Headrick (Josh), Logan Perkins, Rosey Perkins, Raymond Perkins (Heather), George Perkins, and Jennifer West (Tim); as well as a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Willie Mae Perkins; her brother, Gary Perkins, and his wife, Linda; and her niece, Jeanne Perkins. 
 
A graveside service for family will be held at 10 AM Saturday, August 29th at Henry Cemetery. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this time. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Ms. Linda Sue Perkins.
