Fireball Streaks Across Night Sky, Visible From Tishomingo County and Beyond 

A brilliant fireball meteor lit up the night sky over Tupelo, Mississippi, on Sunday at 10:30 p.m. CDT, traveling at 56,000 mph before disintegrating over Missouri. Witnesses across 15 states reported its bright greenish-white glow. NASA confirmed no fragments reached the ground. Photos and reports are welcomed by the American Meteor Society.
