Members of the Tishomingo County Master Gardeners revitalized Jay Bird Park's flower beds before the first Farmers Market. They planted purslane, a hardy and low-maintenance succulent that flourishes in hot weather, requiring minimal care while producing colorful blooms. Visitors are encouraged to appreciate these new plantings during their market visits.
