Alabama White BBQ Sauce 

A tangy mayonnaise-based barbecue sauce native to Northern Alabama, perfect with grilled chicken or pork. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup mayonnaise 
     
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 
     
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice 
     
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish 
     
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 
     
  • 1 teaspoon sugar 
     
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
     
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 
     
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional) 
     

Instructions: 

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until smooth. 
     
  1. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let flavors develop. 
     
  1. Use as a dipping sauce or baste grilled chicken or pork.
