Emily Vestal, an Extension Agent at Mississippi State University in Tishomingo County, received the Family, Health, and Wellness Program of the Year Award on December 12. She was recognized for her innovative youth education programs and leadership within the Mississippi Homemaker Volunteers, along with her canning education efforts.
