On September 19, 2025, Representative Lester Carpenter honored Beverly Murray and family for their lasting influence on community development. Lambert Hardware and Building Supply, established in 1962, has been run by four generations of J. C. and Maxine Lambert's descendants, currently led by Barney and Dustin Dick.
