Happy 4th of July

Blakely Mae Butler is excited to celebrate her very first 4th of July. Blakely is the daughter of Gable and Chelcy Butler and the granddaughter of Matthew Martindale and James and Shelaine Butler.

Residents and visitors alike look forward to the Fourth of July festivities each year, and 2025 is no exception. With multiple events planned across the area—from lakeside celebrations to citywide gatherings—there’s something for everyone to enjoy this Independence Day.

Thursday, July 3, 2025

  • Silver Dollar Sales Annual Firework Show at 75 Red Bay Road, Golden, Miss beginning at 9:00 pm.

Friday, July 4, 2025

  • Belmont’s Fourth of July Celebration from 5:00 pm to 9;30 pm at CC Shook Park with music, food vendors and the fireworks finale.
  • Freedom Fest at Selmer beginning at 12:00 pm with Fireworks at 9:00 pm at the City Park. Dwight Wadkins Band will perform leading up to the fireworks, Selmer, Tenn.
  • Annual Fireworks Show Pickwick Landing State Park beginning at 9:00 pm at Counce, Tenn.
  • Annual Wood’s Family Fireworks beginning af- ter dark at Indian Creek on the water.

Saturday, July 5, 2025

  • Tishomingo’s Annual Street Dance and Fire- works Show, beginning at 6:30 pm with live music, food trucks, bouncy house, face painting, ven- dors, and more. Fireworks will be at 10:00 pm at the Tishomingo Ball Field. Dwight Wadkins Band will perform from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
  • Fireworks on the Water, house across from Aqua Yacht Harbor beginning at 9:00 pm, Pickwick, Tenn.
  • Bay Springs Fireworks, beginning at dark. • Waterloo Fireworks Show beginning at 9:30 pm.

No matter where you choose to celebrate by the water or in town—this year’s Fourth of July weekend promises fun, music, and fireworks for all ages. Bring your lawn chairs, your friends and family, and enjoy a star-spangled celebration !
