Iuka Remembers: 75 Years Ago Today 

In May 1950, Iuka experienced significant community progress as the Twentieth Century Club pursued victory in a national contest. Key achievements included the opening of Dr. Harry Cosby Jr.'s clinic and winning recognition for leadership. The town members undertook an extraordinary clean-up effort, culminating in Governor Wright declaring “Iuka Day.”
